Terms, Conditions, Refund & Participation Policy

By registering for, attending, or participating in any event organized by C&D Events ("Organizer"), all participants agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Eligibility & Registration
Participants must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration. The Organizer reserves the right to verify participant details and reject, suspend, or cancel any registration containing false, misleading, or incomplete information.
Registration shall only be deemed confirmed upon successful receipt of the applicable registration fee and issuance of confirmation by the Organizer.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to maintain professional, respectful, ethical, and sportsmanlike behavior throughout the event. Any form of misconduct including harassment, discrimination, abuse, violence, intimidation, cheating, offensive behavior, or violation of event rules may result in immediate disqualification, removal from the event, and forfeiture of all fees paid without refund.
Organizer's Authority
The Organizer reserves the right to make decisions relating to scheduling, judging, scoring, eligibility, participation, venue arrangements, safety measures, and overall event management. All decisions made by the Organizer shall be final, binding, and not subject to dispute.
The Organizer may amend, modify, postpone, reschedule, or cancel any part of the event, including categories, rules, formats, venues, or schedules whenever deemed necessary for operational, safety, legal, or logistical reasons.
Photography, Recording & Media Rights
Participants grant the Organizer and its authorized partners the unrestricted right to photograph, film, record, broadcast, publish, reproduce, and use their name, image, likeness, voice, performance, and event-related content for promotional, marketing, advertising, social media, public relations, sponsorship, educational, and commercial purposes worldwide without further consent or compensation.
Health & Safety
Participants acknowledge that they are physically, mentally, and medically fit to participate in the event. Any medical condition, disability, allergy, injury, or special requirement must be disclosed to the Organizer prior to participation.
Participants agree to comply with all safety instructions, venue regulations, and emergency procedures issued by the Organizer.
Liability Waiver
Participation in the event is entirely at the participant's own risk. The Organizer, sponsors, venue owners, partners, affiliates, employees, contractors, volunteers, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, accident, death, loss, theft, damage to personal property, financial loss, travel disruption, or any direct or indirect damages arising from participation in the event except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Cricket Tournament Rules
Teams are responsible for ensuring that all players satisfy eligibility requirements. The use of unauthorized players, fraudulent documentation, match-fixing, cheating, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in immediate disqualification.
Players must wear appropriate sports attire, protective equipment, and comply with all tournament regulations issued by the Organizer.
Fashion Show & Ramp Walk Rules
Participants must comply with dress codes, rehearsal schedules, backstage protocols, and event instructions. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participation where attire, conduct, performance, or presentation is considered inappropriate, unsafe, offensive, or inconsistent with the event's standards.
Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings, outfits, accessories, cosmetics, and valuables unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Data Privacy
Personal information collected during registration may be used for event administration, communication, security, participant verification, promotional activities, and operational purposes. Information may be shared with authorized partners, service providers, venues, sponsors, airlines, hotels, government authorities, or other relevant entities where reasonably required for event operations.
Force Majeure
The Organizer shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, modification, postponement, or cancellation of the event resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, acts of government, political unrest, terrorism, pandemics, public health emergencies, labor disputes, technical failures, transportation disruptions, venue issues, or security concerns.
REFUND, CANCELLATION, TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION POLICY
The Organizer incurs substantial expenses for venue reservations, event production, staffing, equipment, permits, trophies, marketing, travel arrangements, accommodation, administration, and logistics well in advance of the event date. Accordingly, registration fees are generally non-refundable except as expressly stated below.
Participant Cancellation
- More than 30 days before the event: Participants may be eligible for a refund of upto 75% of the registration fee, subject to deduction of all actual expenses already incurred by the Organizer.
- Between 15 and 30 days before the event: Participants may be eligible for a refund of upto 50% of the registration fee after deduction of applicable charges and expenses.
- Less than 15 days before the event: No refund shall be payable under any circumstances.
Travel & Accommodation
Where flights, hotel accommodations, airport transfers, visas, transportation, merchandise, event kits, or related services are arranged by the Organizer, any costs already incurred shall be deducted from any approved refund.
Flight tickets, hotel bookings, visa fees, transportation charges, processing fees, banking fees, administrative expenses, and other third-party costs are non-refundable to the extent such costs are non-refundable to the Organizer.
No Refund Situations
No refund shall be granted for:
- Failure to obtain a visa
- Visa rejection or delay
- Flight cancellations or missed flights
- Government travel restrictions
- Personal scheduling conflicts
- Illness, family emergencies, or work commitments
- Failure to attend the event
- Late arrival or denied boarding
- Disqualification due to breach of event rules
- Failure to utilize booked travel or accommodation services
Transfer of Registration
Registrations may be transferred to another eligible participant with prior written approval from the Organizer and submission of updated participant details at least seven (7) days before the event.
Event Postponement
If the event is postponed, registrations shall automatically remain valid for the revised event date. Any refund request arising solely from postponement shall be reviewed at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
Recovery of Expenses
Where a participant withdraws after the Organizer has paid for flights, accommodation, visas, transportation, merchandise, or any other services on the participant's behalf, the participant agrees to reimburse the Organizer for all non-refundable expenses, penalties, charges, losses, and costs incurred as a result of such withdrawal or cancellation.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds shall be processed within thirty (30) business days through the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
DECLARATION & ACCEPTANCE
By submitting a registration form, making payment, or participating in the event, the participant confirms that:
- All information provided is true, accurate, and complete.
- The participant has carefully read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
- The participant voluntarily agrees to comply with all event rules, policies, and instructions.
- The participant accepts all risks associated with participation.
- The participant agrees to the Refund, Cancellation, Travel & Accommodation Policy.
- The participant acknowledges that violation of these Terms may result in suspension, removal, or disqualification without refund.
For participants under the age of 18 years, registration must be completed or approved by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the participant.
